| CROSBY PRODUCT APPLICATION PROGRAM Crosby product application program provides the basic application information for the Crosby Products and their use with selected other lifting devices. The program educates the customers in the correct application when handling lifting equipment. Topics • Risk management and the basic rigging plan for the load block and below • Inspection requirements and the use of rigging chart • The rigging triangle and the loads placed on the rigging gear, the application of fittings, the load multiplier • Load control and the use of slings and fittings including hitches, taglines and the center of gravity • Block concepts including application and maintenance of blocks • Wire rope terminations hand and lever chain hoist • Overview of other rigging standards including: North American Cargo Security, Personnel lifting, API RP 2D, CEN, DNV Duration: 8 hours
